RC10B4.1 FT/WC
I've seen guys use the little scales from harbor freight. They have them for $15 each but you can use the 20% off coupon. They work awesome. I try and use it when I see one of them at the track with them.
Anyone know where to find a setup with t4 chassis? Or anyone else have experience with using it? I tried it once before but didn't really like it. Kinda forced to use it for awhile since last night practicing someone jumped the track with an scte and hit me head on. Snapped my chassis and top plate in half. Can't really afford new chassis right now so gonna try giving the t4 chassis a try again.

I've got a kid at the track today with a brand new b4.1 with an MMP & 1408. What kind of gearing does he need for it? He's currently at 28/81 & it's rediculouly slow. How high does the gearing need to be for it?

Is that the 4 pole motor? Either way that motor should be overly fast
I am gathering info to give to the OP for this thread. Anyway, how does this info sound for the U-brace mod:
Does anyone have pictures of this mod, before and after?
The ubrace mod is done in conjunction with the
CHub. From my experience, it helps the car rotate is little better on a higher bite surfaces. I have found on low bite surfaces that it is pretty awful. Because the rear will slid a little and square up better, it adds a little more steering on the entry of the turn and when power is applied, it will square up nicely. Again, this is mainly for higher bite tracks. IMO if your running double Dee's you probably want the A hub. If your running a Bar code, beam or suburb type of tire, the C hub and ubrace mod might be for you. Like Matt said, the avid carbon upper is nice because it is an all in one A/C hub and is cheaper than the AE C Hub.

Yes, it's the small 4 pole. Right now it is really slow down the straight & won't clear a double with plenty of run up room. Is any one familiar with this motor at all? How tall can it be geared?

All the times I've walked thru harbor freight I didn't notice scales, looks like I'll take another look.
Jmuck, that scale awesome, didn't see a price though. guessing at least a hundo. If I ever get into on road I may just try it out. Is limit is 500g x4 so no good for 1/8th.
