Hi guys, got a very noob question here...
Ive moving into stock(17.5t boosted) and have swapped out the old Novak GTB for the Hobbywing XERUN V3 120a. The only Program box's i can find all say;
The Professional Program Box is suitable for the following ESC's:
1. XERUN Series Car ESC (Version 2.0)
2. EZRUN Series Car ESC (Version 2.0)
3. PLATINUM Series Helicopter/Aircraft ESC's
Is this the correct one and will i just need to upgrade the firmware to work with my V3?

Go back to page 686 and read JohnnyRC's post(i beleive its the 4th or 5th from the top and that page pretty much explains the issue

So, now I will look for the 1.63 version of the Turnigy software or even their latest version, which is up on the Hobbyking website but I get an error when trying to download it.

Another update, with the 1.63 software I only had the choice of the V1_508_No timing software available to me. I'm wondering if this is because I installed and used the Turnigy 1.62 software version?
So, now I will look for the 1.63 version of the Turnigy software or even their latest version, which is up on the Hobbyking website but I get an error when trying to download it.

ive now downloaded 3.2 and updated the lcd box maybe this is where ive gone wrong .

I'll try the different versions, but for now I'm happy that I got access to V1_508_No timing software by using the Turnigy 1.62 (which looks exactly like the Hobbywing version) software, even though I updated the 2 in 1 box to the latest firmware.
I never knew that either, I may have to do the same.

Take a look at it, it's a usefull document.
I have to thank someone else here on RC-tech for that document, because it is not mine, but don't know it's origin anymore.
Off-topic
In my search for a good "cloud", I played a bit with skydrive, it can't do what I was looking for, but for this type of sharing it is a good platform.

sorry if it's been asked, but what's the latest software for the v3? I can only see 504 and 511 beta in the current version of the USB link software
Also any chance of mac support?? It's a PITA having to swap to the old windows box to update my speedos
