Ive been running 4400 30c Sky Lipos and 5000 40c Gens aces the past 2 years. I have 2 Sky Lipos that have close to 200 cycles on them and are still Working great. Constantly Balance at 4.20. The Gens ace are good too my biggest complaint is they are a PITA to get in and out of the 4x4 with the removable lead.
Has anyone used these? http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...ehouse%5F.html
I know you usually get what you pay for but it's hard to justify buying something like associated or others that cost $100+ when you can get two for about $80.

Would you become disillusioned if I told you AE (Reedy) gets their manufactured batteries form the same supplier as Hobbyking?
There are no lipo production facilities in North America, the EPA regs are too strict.
The difference is the level of quality control. I own cheap batteries and I own Reedy batteries. The cheap batteries die a lot faster in my experience. It takes fewer cycles for the battery to get to where only 1000-1500 mah into the battery punch and power noticeably declines
Yes, the cheap batteries are a lot cheaper, but I've puffed and had more cheap batteries die than good batteries, Reedy's in my case. I've got Reedy batteries with hundreds of cycles on them that I still use. I've had Turnigy Nano Tech's only last a few months of real racing.
I did try a set of Turnigy A-Spec saddle packs for a different car because Associated was out of stock on the Reedy's. They feel good right now, but how long they last remains to be seen.

In the end go with what you feel comfortable with. if paying top dollar works and gets you warm and fuzzy inside, great.
Same thing the other way.

So I'm racing tonite and would like to try the front shock blue springs in the rear, what do I need to do to run them on the rear? Be clear and explain the small details as I am likely to not figure it out lol.
