It looks like Joey Christianson and The Dirt crew need to down there and show them how to deal with a rain soaked track, he has done that so many times, I can't count, for The Dirt Nitro Challenge in Cali and Arizona.

Hi guys, we had a night meeting under light this weekend and my clocked novarossi P5 & werks 2058 came out to play in the serpent 2.0 buggy, what can i say other than the engine is a beast with the best run time as well, I won the Pro Buggy A main 30 minute final with 10 minute pit stops and finished a lap up on the field, no other buggy did a 2 stop race .... wahoo

Aaron Burgess was also racing in the Truggy class with his clocked o.s speed and had a good result with a 3rd place finish in the 30 minute A main, his mugen mbx6tr sounded awsome down the straight, so another great wekend result at the snake pit

How does the clocked P5 stand against a stock Bonito. Was thinking about getting Proto 7 but think it may be a little too much with my current driving abilities. I have done some research in this thread and it sounds like the P5 for buggy is a powerhouse!

The clocked P5 is way more engine than a stock Bonito. I run a clocked Bonito and i love it. I'm gonna buy a P5 next spring. Just make sure you buy a P5 suited to your needs. Buggy mod if u run buggy and truggy mod for truck.

I have run the Truggy Mod P5 in my serpent buggy for well over a year and its a power house for sure, You need a smooth finger for this beast, I think the Buggy Mod would be more suited for sure.

I have the truggy mod P5 as I some times run it in the truggy also and give the clocked banito a rest on the smaller tracks, clocked P5 either way is a great powerhouse with great run times.

I got a chance to run the Clocked Bonito in my MBX6R for the first time at the Toys for Tots race at Loganville RC Speedway this past weekend. The motor had tons of power but was very manageable in the buggy, paired with the 41001 Nova header and the Nova 9886 pipe combo. We also tested the Nova 41029 header with the 2096 pipe as well. With both combos, the motor had tons of bottom end punch and ridiculous amounts of top end. I was able to TQ and Win in the Pro Buggy A-Main with a tough field of drivers. The race was for a great cause, and brought in 137 entries from all over. It was a great first run with the CRE Bonito, it has tons of power and punch while still being dependable. Just another great product from the whole CRE crew, thanks Neal and John for the opportunity to run the engines. And cant wait to get out there and do some more testing with the Clocked Bonito.

Yeah, deffinatley. It has unbelievable amounts of power, but is still controllable even in a buggy. Its a great engine, and I cant wait to get more time running it. Thanks for the great motors and support from both Neal and John at CRE, they are great guys and know exactly what they are doing.

The best part about the CRE power is being able to out run other engines in a straight line from apex to apex, with the stock motor you must be smooth into and out of each corner to cover the least amount of ground to cut fast laps, CRE gives you that extra needed to drive the outside lines right past the other guys on the track while cutting the same lap times, once you get near the straights its bye bye competition but the true winner is the CRE run times which once tuned properly gives you that 10 minute fuel stops which also hands you that advantage of less pit stops.

Having the extra power also gets you out of trouble from time to time but enough of telling you some thing every CRE engine owner knows all ready knows, they are FAST, they sound EVIL, they get great RUN TIME, they give you great customer service TOO.

Hey Neal well ran the 4btt and that thing just plain rips bottom to top unbelievable difference between the clocked one and the stock one. Dont have a full race tune on it and getting just under 10 minutes before empty. I have not ran the p5 yet but sure it will be fine. I am running the 41001 manifold and 9901 pipe but I am going to try the 2096 pipe next. I got second in our Fall series final race to a pro driver who is sponsored but clinched the series with second even though I had a sloppy main and I am the Fall series champ. Thanks for all the help Neal I am 100% satisfied with the service I received from CRE thanks again for all the help. I am spreading the word around my track about your clocked motors and your great service. Here is the link to our clubs website and you will see me the series champ in nitro buggy. The guy that got second is the one that runs Houstons tuned motors check it out philhurdraceway.com.

Thx Matt
