Tekno SCT410 Thread

Its a 5000 turnigy it was 50$ only the thunder power next to it was 180$ lol.... i run a rx8 and a 1900 in my eb48 and it runs super cool with a 16,17,18 tooth pinion! I would try the sct410 in a 10 minute practice or race before worrying about making it lighter! Could be the ratio or just a more efficient drivetrain

I got to see some of the trucks running when I raced on this past Wednesday & they looked great! Rock solid, fast & precise. In my opinion Dannys truck looked the best on the track. They will have a great starting set up ready by the time the truck is released. I'm really excited about getting this SC!

I have a SCTE & have not had problems running far longer than 10 mins. Using a Reedy 6500 or my Nano 6600 i can run for 15 mins w/ou hitting lipo cut off. Running rx8 & pro 4 4600. My truck weighs 6.2 lbs rtr.
That being said I'm very interested in the Tekno truck.
Question.--Would you say this truck is better for large 1/8 outdoor tracks or indoor clay tracks. Presently I have 2 Losi's 1 for winter & 1 for summer outdoor

Not sure what he is driving these days, but last I saw, it was a SCTE.
I think when most people talk about Danny and Tekno, they refer to Danny down in San Diego, owner of Tekno, and can usually be found driving at SDRC. I saw Tekno Danny wheeling the SCT410 when I visited SDRC, and he was hauling

I'm no Losi fanboy. I'll probably buy this truck when it becomes available. Just stating my personal experience.

The Danny you're talking about is the owner of WCRC, and he is insanely fast (two time ROAR champion in stock SC and truck). Not to mention he is dialed on his own track
