I've got my EB down tow about 6.1 lbs and I've done the following

trimmed side guards quite a bit
2s lipo
540 4 pole (xerun 4700)
Aluminum center driveshaft
Trimmed mech brake posts off of motor mount and diff suport
plastic shock cartridge cap
aluminum screws everywhere
minimal wiring
removed droop screws

The only options I had to add so far were the aluminum center driveshaft. I'm going to try the composite hing pin braces and a shorty 2s pack as well. I'm not sure what else I can do to get down to 5.7

thanks for the reply.

I'm thinking one of those castle 2400 motors and a 3s might be the way to go for those club race nights...

Initially with the car completly stock I was running a Tekin 1900 and a 3000 mah 4s. I would only use about 1800mah for a race with that setup. Our races are usually 5 minutes long. It was right at 7lbs like that.

Curious to see how well they perform.

It even moves the center diff rearward, so you run the front driveshaft in the rear, and vice-versa. Personally I think the white chassis looks ugly, but it's worth it for the performance gain.

One good side-effect...it makes you not want to wreck ever, because when you put it on it's lid, it's like...hey look at me, my chassis is bright white and I'm upside-down!
+1 My scte with the mip kit is so nice to drive.

I may pick this up to run on the bigger outdoor 1/8 scale style tracks.

wonder if you can get away with say 13 gauge wire versus 12 for a bit of weight savings ?

People are really trying to cut weight! This year when i ran sct i was adding weight! I would suggest getting the truck dialed! Complete a few races without any wrecks and then make some weight adjustments if u feel u need too! My eb48 runs super cool and easily makes a 10 minute main with a cheap turnigy battery!

Yes you can. I have it on a SC truck with a 6.5 and have no issues with 13Guage wire. As far as weight though, cant say how much different it is.

The 4 ploe motors are so amp hungry, I would rather keep the 12 awg. The way I have my wiring done doeant require much wire at all.

Hi Tekno guys,
what would be the internal ratio for the SCT410 ?
4:1 like the EB48 as it looks like both of them use the same spur and the same diff pinion ?

Will there be a cross reference guide for the parts shared between the buggy and sc truck?? Considering getting both the buggy and truck at the same time.
Thanks

What kind of run time you getting with this 2S combo? Also curious how it affected LT to RT CG.

I'm really intrigued by this Tekno SC410. I love the EB48 diffs being used. Curious from the guys driving the test trucks how power consumption/efficiency seems to compare with other model SC4X's

I'm not real worried about it but, I run on a smaller indoor track all winter and the lighter trucks have an advantage there.

2 of the 3 fastest trucks, both losis, couldn't make 10min. on the track last weekend.

How many MAHs in that Turnigy battery?
