For those who trash a lot of wings the LMR is tough for sure! I don't need to run them personally.

Just ordered up some shorty batteries to for when I get my buggy out on the track soon. I was thinking about trying out my ESC mounted in the middle of the chassis. Is it recommended for it to be in front or behind the battery (I would think behind) and how do you protect the esc case other then just foam spacers? What about mounting the esc above the battery tray on a piece of carbon cut from the battery strap infront of the tower?

Thanks Matt,

I'm thinking of changing the colors of the vinyl so it stands out more...... maybe something darker.... not sure yet.

What do i check or adjust on a b4 to pervent front nose dive comming off a jump on a short high bite tight carpet track? I am running a ballistic 17.5 motor gtb esc with no drag brake, gearing at 75/30 its fast with that gearing. shock oil is 30wt all the way around shocks are in the middle hole on the shock tower and in the inner hole on the front a arms. front springs a brown rears are green. i have no added weight to the car tried to feather the jumps but with the quick responce that the car has i over shoot the jumps and nose dive does anyone have any ideas.? thanks

I rarely tune for jumping. Jumping is more of throttle control. I spend the afternoon trying to get my 7year old to understand it. Happily she actually started to downside and stopped beating the crap out of her truck...most of the time.

ok, now me. When do you guys toss your packs in the trash? Someone gave me 3x puffed packs tonight. they balance and seem to hold a reasonable charge.... but with lipos I fear the fire. I would use them for practice probably, as I would not trust them to perform racing. They are hard cases with no visible damage, they are just chubby.
