How much modding is needed to get the old body to fit? Have any pictures

Someone posted a pic with the 44.1 body on the 44.2 in this thread.

18 with no boost on the ESC, and vents in the body.

All I did was put some spacers on the back mount. The body fits fine.

It's a fix until I can get the new body painted up

I ran velcro on the sides as well as putting a tiny drop of CA glue between the chassis and protector where I check ride height (front and rear) so it would stay tight next to the chassis. That prevented the slapping and also makes ride height. It popped right off when needed. I would use a small piece of 220 grit sand paper to flatten the spot that I glued on the chassis and under tray after it accumulated glue.

Where'd you get that wrap for the top deck?

It's one my buddy I had left over from 2011 he got from Stick It 1 racing. Just been sitting around since my old one never went bad.

It doesn't fill the deck side to side like it did on the .1 but works well enough.

I'm sure all vinyl companies will have the new profile soon if not already.

For all you guys that are missing the undertrays, a local guy from my track, Bugle on these forums, made a mould up during the week and gave me the first one out. Fits like a glove.

Kudos to your buddy for making them but having run them before, I'll never run a chassis slapper again. IMO

Very tight. The bell crank arm rubbed against the front of the servo. If you notice in 3rd pic you can see I had to remove the spacer on the servo mount.

I didn't put a lot into the body since it's just going to be for practice. I'm going to get a Proline Bulldog custom painted for races.

Finished my build! Went for the blacked out look. About to break in the diffs real well, and hopefully find some time today to head over to the track (West Coast Raceway).
