Yes they cut them down to make ~50 grams for certain situations. Sometimes they use a full 87 gram version as well.

We've run our b44s outdoors on our 1/8 track a few times. It tears em up pretty quick if the track is dry or rutted. Chassis protector is a must and it will get beat to crap.

Having said that, they're a blast and they work great. You generally have to raise ride height a bit for the looser outdoor conditions. If the track is blue grooved hard and growing rocks, I don't generally do it. If it's got some moisture and has recently been prepped, why not?

Thanks again!

You guys that are selling off the included body... you guys getting the new +8 Pro-Line Bulldog, or just running your previous 44.1 bodies ? The 44.1 body fits fine, just a tiny bit short in the front, which didn't seem like a big deal.

I'm getting the bulldog which actually has an undertray with it.

I'm well underway with the build process. Got the F/R diffs built and mounted. I'm going to get the proline bulldog also. Anyone know where they are in stock (East Coast preferably).

Beware if you've never had a B44 before... that Pro-Line undertray makes a terrible slapping sound if you aren't landing your jumps correctly. Gets annoying real quick. Most seem to prefer chassis film.
