I have been using these on my servos, but they're very long and I had to cut the end off of one the other day to get it to work.

The trick is knowing that any horn that fits Futaba servos will work w/ Savox.
thanks, that were what i thought but it were very har to get on, thats why i ask

could you put up some pic?

To me i think its well spend, very easy to set up your car, when that said and done i only used it once and thats yesterday

The build quality is second to none.

best regards.

The fast guy at our track cut his stock 90g ballast in half, must be on to something? The 44.1 setups are using the full 90g's, hmm? I guess I'll just Have to wait, test, and see for myself I guess.

Before you guys go crazy with the weight, check out the difference in weight between your lipos, and what the pros are running.

I don't like weight in my .1, but I think my 5000mAh lipos are on the heavier side. My home track is fast, and thight, and the lighter car rotates MUCH better IMO.

With the additional 8mm, it makes sense that they'd want to cut down on the added weight. The +8mm on the 2wd calmed it down a lot.

The Reedy 5200mah packs in Thielke's setup run 298g. My current saddles run at 260g. So maybe running the full 90g ballast would work for me, if it's even needed? Does the chassis tape have clearance for the screws to be accessed form the bottom or do you have to cut a opening once it's on?

The tape is a solid sheet. I've used regular tape weights stuck to the insides of the saddles before. I like moving them front to rear as well.

Whoa. You just blew my mind with the idea of taking the batt shims out and playing with ballast. Thanks for such an obvious and simple solution!

So Thielke's setup says "Associated Flat 2 x 1.6" for the front pistons (and 1.7 for the rears). What does this mean ? Is this some kind of a stacked pistons configuration ? The shafts only have 2 grooves for clips.

I see Brent around the Orange County tracks from time to time, but with my very limited R/C schedule now, I doubt I'll run into him anytime soon. Reedy Race in January @ West Coast, but I'd like to know sooner than that :P

Flat opposed to tapered pistons, I would assume.

Ok that makes sense... but what about the "2 x" part.

Is anyone running these on outdoor 1/8 tracks?
I know its a super fast car, just wondering how they hold up durability wise running on the larger tracks with bigger jumps?
