You can store them at 3.6 to 3.85. The firs hazards come from overcharging , puncturing and shorting of the packs. I have tested 100s of packs and done some high amp discharging and never have had an issue so far.

thanks for the reply Danny. Yeah I never over charge them, Like I said I only charge mine at 1c. They cut off at roughly 4.18 to 4.20 per cell.

My 6500 70c pack is on its way from you and I'm curious to see how it performs compared to the Promatch, gens ace and turnigy packs I've been running. Always heard good things about SMC batteries. Now that the price is down selling direct I'm sure you will be a busy man.

Higher charge rates are fine with low IR packs. Only problem is to high you want get a full charge as most chargers are programmed to stop the charge when the amp rate reaches a certain percentage. For example if 3% is used then charging at 10 amps will result in the charge stopping at 0.30amps. Charge at 40 amps and it will stop at 1.2amps so it will not have as much mAh put into the pack.

Hope you enjoy this pack as many racers are happy with this model and we can't keep it in stock. It has very low IR and true 6500mAh.

Danny I'm planning on ordering a couple packs in a week or so. Do your packs come with leads/male bullet connectors with no plug? im fine with soldering on my own deans connector. What type of balance plug come with your packs?

Not 100% sure I understand your question.

We offer each pack with 3 choices of connectors. 4mm inboard for those who like using 4mm male bullet style connectors. Wires with real Deans or real Traxxas connectors.

Will put them in the specs of the packs when we get them in. I believe they will be in the 205 -210 gram range.

Our 6500-70C with low IR only weighs 315grams. Seems like the materials used in our higher mAh packs don't was as much as some of the cheaper materials.

Sorry about that, I was a little scatter brained when I was asking that.

If I order the packs with no "add-ons" How will the pack arrive, just wires? What type of balance plugs do the packs come with?

If you need a pack with Deans then order the pack that has D at the end of the part number this pack will come with wires and Deans. The balance connector is the XH style which is one of the most common types of balance connectors.

If you go to the packs page and click on specifications you will get all this info.

New shipment of Race Formula packs due in tomorrow. Packs are now listed as in stock on our site. Orders placed now and tomorrow will ship on Tuesday.

No short case 4600s in this shipment.

We expect the 4300-50C short case to arrive on the 14th with the new 6500-60C regular size pack.

No ROAR approval on this pack for now. If sales are high we will send it in for approval.

The pack looks the same as this pack.
