sweeeeeeeeeet. the .18 is waaaaaaaaaay better than the stock engine. tons of torque, speed is incredible!! i beat out all other savages, revos, maxes, etc. all of them cant compete with me. i beat them off the line, out of the corners, and on the straights. i HIGHLY recommend this engine. 7 tanks of break in is the only drawback, but they go by quick as the needle settings are rich from the factory. the fuel consumption is smaller aswell(i dont know how but it is). with a 10 minute main i still have about 1/4 of a tank left. and the temps/needle settings are consistent aswell. get that thing as soon as possible. word from the wise, follow the instructions.

ya, that shaft is prone to cracking if you only upgrade the gears and not the shaft.

do you have to tap the hole yourself? if so, then just a standard nipple should do. you can get them at you LHS

no it already has the hole but it is bigger than the hole for the nipple on my old one. Should i just take my truck to the hardware store and find a nipple that will fit?

dont know, never weighed mine. i have aluminum shocks, full skid plates(aliminum), cvds, larger engine, metal pipe, tranny components. though i have taken off the battery box, rear bumper, and dremeled just about everywhere. so i'm guessing about 8.5 pounds. thats still alot less than some other trucks.
