The plate will weigh less than 1/2 oz. I'm not sure what the Tekno part weighs but even if it weighed nothing you could easily adjust the battery to compensate. Most guys are running the packs full forward to get more on power steering anyway.

You can tweak the flex to your liking. The best combo so far is front and center, no rear, but I want to test front/rear, no center a little bit more.

BTW, we will have setup sheets available at launch! We plan on releasing 3 setup sheets that you can start from. Basically a setup that pushes slightly (easier to drive), a balanced setup (recommended), and an aggressive (MAJOR steering) setup.

One of the things we found is that the car is very responsive to setup changes and you can really tune it to your individual driving style. You can setup for tons of traction or tons of steering and it's easy to adjust that bias to your driving.

But, the car doesn't just push OR steer. During testing, we drove dozens of other 1/8th scales back to back with ours to see what was working on other cars. Where were the other cars beating us. Did they steer better off power? Did they stay flatter in the corners, etc.. What we wanted to do was to beat every car in every category. That's not always 100% possible since a gain in one attribute usually results in a loss somewhere else. But when you combine the features, weight, suspension geometry, etc we've come very close to having a setup that is better in almost every way than the conversion we've been driving up to this point.
Hi Danny

You mentioned in this post that Tekno would post 3 "guide" setup sheets with a pushes slightly setup, balanced setup and aggressive setup. I see the Team Driver & User Subs, but are there still plans to submit the "guide" setups? I think this will help a lot of people with a good starting point and tune from there.

Thanks!

Well, we'd still like to do that, but it seems we're still tweaking and I'm not sure that having 3 completely separate setups is a good idea anymore. I think what we'll end up doing is have our base and then in the notes section we'll list a couple things to make it more or less aggressive. This way, customers won't have to cross-reference and compare the different setups to see what to change to do what. We're going to need some more time with this and it will evolve.

The EB48 jumps well. Check out the blue buggy at the 1:05 mark. It was after the race was over so I gave the big jump a shot.

Tekno jumps at 1:05

No joke. The ceiling was almost the limiting factor there.

Do the shorty packs stacked on top of eachother make contact with the body? Also what are the pros/cons to this setup as opposed to a normal stick pack. Also what kind of runtime can i expect from dual 4100mah shortys with a 2100kv motor? Thanks!!

Think the lightweight driveshaft would help at all?
