Installed the new Jconcepts aluminum bell crank on all my AE rides. BB's are preordered for all 3 as well.

An 8.5t motor from company a may have 9000kv while 8.5t motor from company b may have 8500kv with company c's 8.5t having 8000kv, all of which would have a large impact on the results of my question if I only asked about the turns of the motor.
I have also noticed that Novak Ballistic motors appear to have a little higher kv rating than some of the other brands I have ran in the past...Is there a limit to the kv ratings like in spec racing you suppose?

What got me thinking about it is the new Tekin pro2/4 motors that are coming out. In particular, a 4 pole 6600kv 540 can motor. This motor should pull 24000RPM's on 1c & have torque for days. Geared properly (I'm guessing similar to a 17.5t on 2c) it should be a monster on a small tight track (which is what I run on).

dremel works perfect, just take your time. maybe finish it off with a small file.

Wonder how the JC steering rack matches up with the Avid.. JC is more light weight so would be interesting to look into.

lol, the JC one is just too blue for me. I like the fit and finish on the avid products, so i went that route.

Has anyone else had issues with spur gear wobble due to the top shaft being out of true? I just ran my B4.1 WC for the first time. I've got a ton of wobble so I've got to pull out my spur a lot so it doesn't bind. It's also noisier than my SC10 is.

The Tracks in our area would be considered low bite compared to the rest of the country. What you guys out west call low bite, we would drool over

With the A tower I run standard brace with 1 washer. Occasionally going to 2 washers if the grip is low.

I know how what you are referring to, but I never liked the feel of a std ubrace period. Always shaved and usually no washers. I'm going to try one though.

As far as the tower goes, I always like the C better. I think it's all driving style though because I also ran 2.5 deg of toe too when most ran 3.0. Guess I liked my car to rotate

tbh, I'm quite rusty since I haven't raced since early March. Over the next month or so, I'll get to put some track time in and test.
