We need an "official" thread with an "official" release date on the "official" product....

curious as it why they went with the plastic risers on the rear hubs versus the factory team graphite ones?

however, there is more difference between the graphite riser versus plastic one other than cost based on what I am reading on the insert the riser comes with. Curious if they found better handling with the plastic one.

Not saying your not right, but still curious to the fact. I mean, if they wanted all cost savings, FRP chassis probably would do that over graphite

Yeah they could have traded the tires for that option and just put the wheels in. I think the first option is going to be the nut that holds down the battery. I bet there will be aluminum one coming. Unless there is a lock nut stashed in that wing nut it wont last long. I like the option of moving the battery back and forth. Now wheres my credit card.

I cant believe they don't address this thread and get us some pricing and a release date or at least give us an idea of when we will see it hit the market.

I'm guessing 400 dollar range????? I don't see any place they have cut cost.

I have to say I am glad to see AE still moving forward with their 4x4 vehicle. They could have just sat on it and make you buy the big bores separate or just released it with bigbores.

Probably see a bunch of ".2" vehicles for everything else in the near future, a big one would be the SC10 2wd factory team. get some hexes on there and the big bores.

I love how AE's prices are so reasonable. Fricking Losi, is on crack with their expensive no option cars.

depends on your country and rules. Here we have a class for 13.5 4WD but it is not run at the moment.
If you compete at modified races you sould run something between 5.5 turnes and 7.5 turnes if you are fast. If you dont race modified no problem. If you are not that experienced 13.5 should be a good point to learn driving smooth.

Was about to pick up a 44.1 for the Reedy race. Glad I waited!
