Ways to discharge lipos

Sometimes I do not use my fully charged lipos when I return home from the track. I have a good quality charger but it has no discharge feature.
What is a good safe and slow way to discharge my lipos with overheating or damage? What type of devise can I hook up to the battery which will discharge it?

You can use a bulb discharger plugged into the main plug, along with a low voltage alarm plugged into to the balance adapter is a good way

SMC had a batch of cells that would puff when stored improperly.
Running them in the car works well.
I use my chargers that do have a storage/discharge feature, what charger are you using?

I was standing in my local auto parts store and looking for light bulbs for a discharge devise when the light bulb in my head went off.
I went home and built a board that has mounted on it, an old motor, ESC, receiver so that I can simulated a running car. I plug the battery in, turn on the juice and tape the throttle of my transmitter to about 1/4 speed and let her run.

If you have old esc's & motors, do the ESC's have lipo cut?
In the airplane world motors & esc's are inexpensive.
My one plane with a 8x4 prop will pull near 27amps full load.
Motor $10, ESC $15
Even 1/2 throtle would be plenty, but without a load there won't be much amp draw.
Most ESC's will usually cut near 3.2 to 3.0v per cell, unless it is adjustable.
