I like aka rear and stock rear foams jammed in the fronts, no cutting.
2 small holes in the rubber.

I wonder if I mismatched some when gluing up piles of tires, since I now have a number of pairs that have always been run together where one feels delicious and the other feels like a blown out open cell. In fact, my latest sets are breaking down/blowing out within a few race days, which is faster than even open cell foams. Did something change? I'm strongly considering switching to AKA foams... Wheels and tires are too expensive and mounting is too time-consuming to use foams that die long before the tires.

I have heard about a mod on the rear U brace where the inner camber link ball sud mounts, what is this mod and what does it do?

You shave down the 2mm hump on the brace where the ball studs screw in. This is done in conjunction with installing the C Tower (http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...-C-Tower-Set-2). My understanding is it is supposed to help lock the rear in more without sacrificing steering. I have never run mine anyway but this way so I can cannot confirm or deny this theory.

When upgrading to Big Bore shocks do you increase your spring rate or keep it the same as what you ran with the V2's?

Also do you change the oil weight or keep it the same as V2's?

Ok, I have upgraded my shocks to the big bore springs. I am running a shorty pack all the way to the rear with the ft balast and 1/4 oz in each rear triangle. With the losi yellow rear springs I can not get the rear of the car to 24mm has anyone else had this problem? DO I need to add more weight or should I wait for the 1st couple of runs and let the springs sag in?

What upper collars are you using? When I first did the bb spring I used the rpm uppers and couldn't get the correct ride height, had to switch to the traxxas upper collars and it worked fine. The traxxas fit over the ae collar better.

what are you guys using for battery foams when you run shorty packs? Does the short course foam work well? 1 in front 1 in the rear? Right now I have just a bunch of foams in there but I would like to make it 1 front 1 rear if possible to avoid me moving one by accident

I use the short course stuff. I figured out where I like my shorty then cut the sc foam to fit.

I am running the traxxas uppers with the losi lowers. Should i also use the traxxas lowers in the rear?

Are you using the buggy yellow springs or the trucks? They are different and you will never be able to get ride height with truck yellows.
