All, I've been doing some comparing between the B4 and the B4.1.

I noticed that all the suspension balls have new numbers for the B4.1. Also, some are labled as being silver or black. Anyone know why these are different? Is it too much for me to hope that the new part numbers are manufactured at a higher tolerance? Tighter fit to the ball ends? One thing that always bugged me about the B4 was how much slop it has at the ball ends.

the new ball studs have a hex in them to screw them on. short and long refers to how high the ball is from the base. the .200, .300 and .400 refer to how long the treads are on the stud. I would replace the balls as needed unless you want to drill your cups for easy adjustments.

Yea it was damp. The Subarb front is great I like it. The wear on these are nice and even. No push except when they were brand new. They were feeling better than my barcodes were all day. Switched back and forth a bit. Both have rear foams in them both were about 60% tread left. They wear slightly faster it seems. I think they will be great when they are almost bald. David and ken ran them and both like them as well.

Scotty does carry those tires, maybe you should look on the tire wall a little better...

Apparently grammar is as little of a concern in the Northwest as it is in the South.

Hopefully I'll race Friday night, not this weekend tho I have to take care of my kid while my wife works. Tuesday for sure.
I never saw them at trcr. First time I saw tem was at fantasy world so I just grabbed em quick.

Not all of us guys in the nw were born and raised here...

Maybe our grammar sucks , but we try to make up for it with good manners & hospitality .

What's a good size motor to start with? I've never run a 2wd buggy before so there is going to be a sizable learning curve. Our track is rather large, geared a little more towards 1/8 scale with a pretty long straight. Lap times are mid 30s. Any advice is appreciated.

Just out of curiosity what grammatically correct part of the country are you from?

8.5s are probably the most common wind for 2wd Mod buggy because they can be turned down to 70-80% and drive smooth, or turned up to 100% and hang on even the lost strait-away.
