they are a couple of escs that work well that are smaller than the RX8, the Speed Passion GT2.0 Pro is one. But it is possible to mount.

Some people cut the top I the rx8 with a dremmel. If you run indoors then you can remove or cut a section of the belt tunnel. 2 dudes at my track run with no middle section of the tunnel.
I don't run a reliever box.. So I could put the rx8 on that side. You can always swap sides

Working on refreshing the truck now. Just took off the arms and they were Bent outta shape pretty good. Pins are good (tinitride). New rpm arms standing by..

The front clicker pulley is chewed up a bit on the edge. Anybody else experience this?..
It a 20. Are many of u guys running a 19? What's the big difference?

Is the pulley chewed on the inside,if so you might check the tranny screws to make sure there not hitting.I like the 20 myself and if you get the truck setup right the overdrive isn't needed.Never really like running overdrive on any car.

check belt tensioners and motor mount plate is stood up straight sounds like belt is hanging off the side.

19 tooth would be good to use on a tight technical track.

I need to check my arms but I need a day off. My only next mod will be refreshing the front diff fluid before next Saturday's race.

Other than that just drive time.

Had the same arms on for 2 months. Apparently that is too long. Haha.
LOoks like the tensioner or belt might have got at it. One time I ran the belt too loose for a few laps before I remembered to tighten. Pully is still totally useable.
Working on the diffs now... Changing front to 30k from 20k. Then the rear to 5k from 7k.
Tight technical indoor track.

Maybe we should disconnect the shocks from the arms to prevent the warping.

Others like Craig and myself have been doing that since we got the truck back in may last year. It seems to help but the warping is really happening on the track, not sitting on your bench.

Can any one tell me if the hobbywing SCT pro Xerun esc fits this chassis in the normal spot?

also if standard Intellect 2cell 6200mah corrally tube style packs fit in and you can get to the connectors?
