SC10 4x4 Thread
Greatest comment I have seen on rctech...it has nothing to do with which truck you drive. It has to do with your driving skill and the time you put into whatever vehicle you run. Up in North Dakota the SC10 4x4 is leading the points right now as well. On any given weekend 2 or 3 of the top 5 in the class are AE with a losi and/or durango thrown in.
The real kicker...I am the leader in points, running a stick pack, rtr truck with hobbwing SC8/4000kv combo, center brace, and cityblock tires. Thats it, no factory team shocks, swaybars, saddle packs, bypass pistons, center diff ect ect. Put the time in and practice.
(Mantis not knocking your stuff, Ive not personally tried it so i dont know if its good or bad)
A couple afternoons at the track testing and tuning and the truck will be just as fast as a losi, and we run on an 8th track with a 175 ft back straight.

I have had him on ignore for about4 months now! but his BS still gets quoted so its not much difference except i dont get notified when his mouth opens. I dont take so much of it from him personal but when it filters down to the newbies that dont realize he is full of it yet it just ruins a new generation of racers. I am just going to lay low and work on the new stuff.
You are wrecking this thread just because someone does not use or endorse your products .....
I will not respond to you or your

the 1410 is pretty good. why do you want to change it out? I have the tekin sc4x and it is fine, but it lacks the snap power of the 4 pole. So if I dont carry my corner speed some jumps can be harder for me. Otherwise it is fine. The pro4 4000kv seems alright. Nice snap and easier to gear than the 4600. But a few people run the 1410 with great success at my track. Even the heavy losi truck fly with it.
Has anyone tried to run the sc10 4x4 in a 2wd class? Im thinking about removing the front CV shafts and trying it.. i have no idea if it will work or not.. it could be brilliant are absolutely horrible. I was even contemplating running it in FWD mode, by removing the rear CV shafts..

to be short. dont bother to try, it will not work at all
You, sir, are surely playing with less than a full deck. ANyone with any constant exposure to you and your "cheese" knows this.
So move along, you surely wouldn't run this much smack in person, so do yourself a favor and move along.
i love the sonic 550 with the lrp sxx tc spec v2 with v3 software.
never had any issues with heat/power loss/etc.....
i used to run a 4000kv 4 pole tekin with the rx8 in a losi scte last year and ended up running it at 50-60 percent epa on the throttle to keep the car under control, and it was still a winner.

Wildcat, since 1/8 scale platforms are legal I'd build an rc8.2e with sc8 shock towers and bumpers with narrower hexes to fit the width limit and you'll be golden. that combo works. some guys have converted there mugens over too. This I see is the trend for outdoor 4x4 sct.
that's the way it should have came from the get go since most of us run outdoor and run on big or bigger jumps.
