I think this is a testament to what a stud RM is behind the wheel.

Frankly, AE couldn't ask for a better situation to try and do something than this race at WCRC.

After seeing BKs arm modification I bet we get some new arms...

no you dont need to pull the motor and anyway the pinion wont fit through the motor plate hole.

yea have to take a little off the belt guide plastic to get a pinion wrench on or drill a hole in the bottom of the chassis to access the pinion gear.

I would not drill any holes if you racing on an outdoor track. my chassis is full of rocks and once i forgot to put my gear cover on and trashed the spur in 3 laps.

A2 Ty made a few mistakes, rolled the truck once when he got too close, again mayfield get it so in control, I watched the race and it looks like touring car driving, no slide anywhere.
*did you see how easy Ty overtook Ryan Cav in A2?

It's some great driving, and can't wait for the setup sheet

Hey ! That Ty guy is a super star in my book .

Still,it takes two things to become a R/c champion ...

A great driver & a great car (Trk)....

i drilled a hole, and countersunk it too, so i just run a standard 4-40 screw (any length, just as long as its under 3/8") and put a matching nut on the other end, since only change gear ratio once and awhile, when the time comes its alot easier/faster then taking the motor out if all you have is straight hex.

definitely easier with this car if you have a ball-end hex for the pinion tho.

for example.

+1.

Even Maifield said without his sponsors he could not have got this far.

Attach the motor but not to close to the spur, slide the pinion on, line it up, nip up the grub screw as best you can, undo motor screws completely and tilt motor so you can get the tool on the grub screw and do it up.
Put motor screws back in, check double check alignment and set the mesh.

I just keep asking myself, If mayfield say that everybody was wrong about this truck, why didnt AE took part with the SC10 4x4 on all major events the past year?
Mayfield and Cavalerie hardly ran the SC10 4x4. and not without a reason, because the chance of winning was to small I guess

It was just all or nothing with the sc10 4x4 + Mayfield. during the ROAR supernats
I dont know what some of you guys are looking for here....do you expect Maifield and Cavalieri to run every class at every major off road race? Are they supposed to run 2wd, 4wd, Truck, 2wd SC and 4wd SC at races such as the Cactus or Shootout? Your always going to see them running 2w & 4w with Cav usually running truck and Maifield with an SC. This truck has shown that it can win indoor and outdoor...here is a video of the Shootout last year where Cav TQ'd 4wd SC and Maifield won it. As for AE not taking part in any of the major races with it....They have been sending BK to all of the Shortcourse Showdown races where he runs 2wd and 4wd, and winning or putting it on the podium everywhere.

+ YouTube Video
ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.

No that is not what I expect.
I expect that AE calculate their best chances on each class with each driver.

In a sense they do...the Ryan's will always run the main classes with some of the other guys (like Kody and Tanner) doing some others so there is always an AE presence there.

I have a buddy's brand new ran "1 pack" Factory Team Sc10 4x4. ~

He got the Exotek locker for the slipper and mounted it up all wrong. So it melted some stuff. (put the pad in the wrong spot etc) - I fixed this and rebuilt all that.

The other problem he had during this same event was suddenly the truck started clicking.
- Clicking started half way through his first run (guessing around the time the VTS melted from stated reason above)
- It's rhythmic to the rotation of the system.
- Truck is put together correctly. I just went through it myself.
+ There's no drag on the system, it's one of the smoothest truck's i've seen roll. Mine doesn't roll this nice.
+ Again, Brand new 1 pack through it Factory Team kit.

Anyone help me? Nothing's got any scratch marks, it is not the clicker, it is locked and I know the sound it makes, and it doesn't sound like metal on metal.
