That's exactly what I was afraid of. Thanks for confirming

Thanks for the heads up I like the avid stuff I'm going to order some now!

Thanks again

Quick question: I purchased some tires and the front came with fat white foam insert now do I cut then to fit or stuff the whole thing in?

If its a rear sized foam I usually cut it down to 3/4 of its size and then stuff it in. I thinks its about 7mm.

What company tires was it? Losi tend to be tall but stuff it in there. Panther are a little wide but again stuff it in there. I think Pro-line uses rears which you should cut down some.

The binding happens when the servo is centered, as in it won't push the slider to the left. I have my EPA set so there is no servo noise at full throw at all points of the shock's range of compression. The steering has never bound up returning to center.

Also, the stock ball cups are use for a reason....they must be the proper length to have the correct amount of throw to each side.
The JRXS Type-R captured ends are the same length.

I was goin to run red AKA for the rear inserts. But i think I'm goin to run the proline stage 2 foam for more softness and go off what frank runs the losi fronts.

On the topic of foams. I picked up a set of Jconcepts Double Dees and Groovys. The foams seemed very big but I stuffed them in there. Should I trim them at all or just glue them as is?

I got my Nano tech shorty today and put it in the 22. I found it a bit tight to get in and out so I am wondering how I have it if it is set up correctly.
I have been reading the different ways of doing it.

I feel I need a few more mm of room to help getting it in and out so would getting the Aluminum Battery Tray (TLR4150) be the best way to go or would I be better to put the battery tray back to the normal length battery position and get some more battery foam pads (BTW how many foams come in the kit mine come with one?)

I would get the aluminum batter tray , that way you can use the rear holes and give you room to get the battery out . You will need to get another foam though .

I just cut some of the brace off. I think I took 1/4 of an inch off. Battery is much easier to get out.

basicely run the Corey Bernardo set-up, with frt aluminium pivot and brass shim, frt aluminium camber mount, rear aluminium camber mount, aluminium rear hubs and .75 aluminium rear hex nuts. i run on a medium bite track that we water between heats and i run my shorty battery all the way forward in the full battery width position, (so right next to reciever) with alot of battery pads behind it. great steering but i have to be careful with rear bite, should i first be running the shorty back all the way againt the rear shock tower like i see most of you all doing or 2nd would it be better to run a full size pack instead of the shorty?
