Thumbs up

As for a good cordless screw driver, I have used the Black & Decker LI41000. It's got a good torque clutch and it's Lithium. Small and light, it's easy to carry and use. Not too expensive either.

depending on who you are running with, yes, it would. Some of the early vids of the Sc104x4 traction rolling while the other vehiclces didn't at the top levels come to mind. I bet that was frustrating the hell out of the Pro AE drivers at the time ...

More tire selection LOL

8mm or similar mod when I was racing carpet indoors. Trackside shock orings. Pro4 motor out of the gate. Front springs on the rear shocks. Car was infinitely better with the front blue springs on the rear, so for me buying the front spring kit and not wasting money on the rear one.

And assuming I was building it right now, based on what I have experienced, RC Shox center diff V2 and RC Shox pistons (assuming bumpy conditions).

Well. I probably would not have gotten one and worked on my buggy more, lol. Anyway you have the FT so you have most of the upgrades. Things to note though.

+1 Front spring kit
+1 RCShox Center Diff. I dont have one, but a lot of people seem to really like it, well besides WC.
+1 to a good motor. I dont think the Pro 4 is the way to go, but I would try the reedy sonic 4.5 550 for sure.
+1 Add 7-8mm of external limiter front and rear. of your diff might explode
+1 to the +8mm mod if you are on high traction. Really helps with traction rolls.
- Start off with the +3mm rims and the right tire. Talk to people at your track that run your truck and are fast. Buy the tires they use.
******* Dont use a 30c pack.....Try to get a 65c pack or there abouts. Gens Ace has them for a good price.
- I dunno what esc you have, but you can get good ones for under $100 or you can spend the cash on the tekin rx8 like most of the people here (not me, lol)

for batteries if these hyperion 6000s give up the ghost the ones from promatch are prices reasonably and have a nice warranty on them.

For ESC, went speed passion GT2.0 after the MMP couldn't handle it without mods. Not a real knock on the MMPs, they just don't have the BEC designed for this stuff (loved it in 1/8 e buggy usage, no mods). the Speed Passion GT2.0 Pro for the money has no issues in 4x4 sct.

Honestly, all it's gonna take is a square piece of plastic/carbon/wood that has the two outer holes to hold it against the bearing carrier, and three holes 8mm above that. I made my own from a piece of a traxxas slash chassis, worked fine.
