Several trips from the truck to the pit area. Just wait before you know it you will have more items that need to be brought to the track

Never liked how they felt, switched to Kyosho springs (pink F/white R) and they were better, now i run Avid (Red F/Yellow R).

Oh and dont come out of the corner hard onto the straight. you need to roll onto the throttle, especially at CV.
Matt, that sounds like sound tuning advice. I was already regretting the losi pistons. And raising the ride height never occurred to me. I guess 23mm is proably good for CH, but too low for CV.

The Last Time I went bashing at a local sand pit (not with the b4) someone made a train out of the hard plastic tool boxes with wheels that are just like a Rubbermaid tote but for tools He has 4 of them and was pulling them all together it was pretty funny but efficient as we h ad to walk about 500meters to where we setup

I am going to try the rear C hubs this week, but don't really want to rely on the shaved U brace. Are there any after market products that already have the shaved U brace made?

Use some sandpaper to sand it down or a Dremel ...

It is definitely not magic....
SO he is using a T4 chassis and cut it down to look like a Losi 22?

@Matt I was looking through the AE setups and noticed that you are suggesting is very close to Cav's world champ setup. Which someone here had suggested in the first place, lol. But I noticed Cav ran 2.5 toe. Now dropping from 3.0 to 2.5 toes will lower stability? Right?

Pro drivers don't even bring 5 tots. What are you taking? I have 1 bag with 4 boxes in it and it carries all I need. One word consolidate my friend.

Why did you even feel the need to post that nonsense? To begin you probably know nothing of the specifics of his modification. Additionally you claim that he took away structural integrity and epoxied the sides on "for looks." The only structural piece that was removed was the outer wall of the chassis, most of the bracing is down the middle. When putting those side pieces back on using "epoxy" you are fusing the pieces just as much as it would be if it were still one piece. Just think of the procedure used to make the original +8 chassis, same idea... Before you say the +8 also had pieces bolted in to hold it I had seen them done with special loctite glue that physically fused the 2 pieces together and would not break or budge at the seam. Add the fact that Ty's chassis is now narrower while still maintaining the proper bracing and it's probably stiffer overall.

I have seen many pros show up with a bunch of totes, and lets not forget the trash bag full of wheels and tires from their sponsors. Kinwald showed up at SRS with a bunch of stuff and a custom made pit table complete with built in power strip and floresent lighting.

I can easily fill up a tote (charger and power supply, box of spare parts, box with various shock oils, wheels and tires, tools, light, soldering station, and a box with wires, shrink wrap, sevo tape, etc.), and depending on the track, i bring a pit table, chair, extension cords, easy up, etc. Not to mention my radio and cars.

Everyone is different, but all the guys that bring less are always asking to borrow something.

@gitum lol, I take everything. Yes, I missed the days of 1 box and my car.

@buckland +1 Ty is is qualified top 10 with his hack job and has been running it for 7 months, so he must like it. If it were trash, he would have moved on. My concern is the T4 chassis. Everyone is turning the cars into limos. The new K Buggy is what? +17mm? Jesus.

Are you implying that he brought 5 small children to carry his stuff? That's more than twice the number of tots I use to carry our pit necessities.
