Sigh
*Puts on Flame resistant suit and braces for the striking of matches.

I ran Kody's setup today and the truck was dialed, layout was different so can't compare lap-times though. Truck was consistent and stable but was it better than the Rcshox/3rd part setup - short answer - no, was it worse, no, it was basically the same but less twitchy and less corner speed. All evened out in the end. There are obviously two ways to skin a cat here and both work equally well. But that begs the question - Is there a magical combination of RCshox parts and a dialed AE setup? I'm going to try and find out.

My track is a bumpy, dusty medium sized 1/8 outdoor track.
As for tires, well, 7 trucks in the 4x4 Amain and 6 different treads so as of now (track's first year) nobody knows lol.

It radically changes droop and effective corner weights (like misadjusting your spring preload), and that's a big deal for some users.

If it's bent, it's junk IMO.

I would think that 14 is about as high as you want to go, but your temps will tell you more than any of us can. Gear by temp.

Temp it with the 14 or 15 or whatever you want to try, just make sure you temp it every few minutes.

Yes as I posted this I was doing a A Main order, got front and rear RPM arms, along with a heap of stuff I "wanted"

Yup, Cityblocks are popular in truggy and buggy but don't seem to work to well in SC.
Enduros, Calibers, Grid irons, snipers, etc. all kin of work. I ran stock LOSI tires and they worked pretty well.

Evil, can you post a link to this setup please. I am working on the Kellogg setup, the one posted on URC. I hear that it is pretty good as well.

Also how do I get more droop for the big jumps? Has anyone drilled a fourth hole on the shock tower?
