Guys, I'm wondering if anyone can explain this to me:
I recently started using some hazard +3 wheels. Now, this doesn't make any sense to me. I understand that the stability is supposed to be a little better (since a wider track) but I am noticing something very strange in the air.
Before I used the +3 wheels, the truck was fairly predictable in the air. But with the wider wheels, it's flying all over the place and is very unpredictable.
Could a tiny amount of rotating mass be throwing everything off like that? Is there something else I'm not considering?

I keep starting over too lol. Here is the thing. A car is designed a certain way. And no mater what you do, you cant completely alter its nature. The nature of the 4x4 is a loose rear end. Pro's will probably love the rear ends moment on high traction. Others will thing it too twitchy or uncontrollable and try to make the truck push. I personally do not believe you can completely change the nature of the truck, just mitigate some of it. If you feel the truck is 100% off at the start, it might not be the truck for you. If you think it is 25% off at the start, you can probably get it where you want it. For me after all my tuning and monies spent, I am at about 75% off, I dont think at my out door track it will ever be what I want. But someone might be in town next weekend and I hope to try their truck and have them try mine and see if we cant do more. But i have my doubts. Same with my xxx losi buggy. It came out of the box pushing hard on outdoor tracks. Nothing I could do would ever make it turn like a b4. So cant completely change the nature of an RC. You can disagree, but that is my belief.

im just determined to get this truck dialed.. i have high standards that i want to meet! everyone at my track is telling me to ditch it and get a losi.. im an ae fan boy at heart and will never convert.. especially with ae right up the street from me and they take such good care of me and my products.. dont get me wrong i have tq with this truck and came in first multiple of times but it wasnt easy.. i wish the truck was easier to predict.. but back to the drawing board WC. i need your help.. maybe post your set up sheet or PM it to me.. i need a fresh start.. not sure where to start.. going from box settings or starting with a pro ae driver set up.. i felt like with the stock rims i had better luck than the hazards +3... thats just me tho.. and also.. i have way too much steering.. tried to turn it down on the D/R to like 60% that helped but then sometimes i would lack steering in corners.. all in all i need a new starting point.. where to begin lol
i was determind in the same way the guys at my local track said to me that the only way to make it push is put slicks on the front so i said your foll of it and first went to the street with the stock tires on it in about 5 times of runing and changing stuff i got it nutral in the corner but the off throtle tall wip was pissing me off than i soll on here to put the front springs on the rear and after that i went to the track still not right my servo was to slow all the rest is in my last poasts if you like i will poast the holl setup that same gut that told me to use slicks retracked the statment and said it was one of the fastist sc he as driven and told me to stop ajusting it and just drive and he is right in away but i wont stop untel i take first on wednesday in a main this week i qt in 7th and made it to 4th when my wheel came off 2laps in to the 8min race dam locknuts
