I use 5.3's, 6.0's, and 6.6 packs... Love 'em. NEVER had a problem with any of them!!

Thank me later, my nizzle
+1 the nano techs work great and at a fantastic price.

Thats good to know the T8 are 4 pole, they do have a lot of torque. I'll keep mine as a back up when it comes back from warranty. Just learned another lesson to keep a electric motor back for my 8th scale as well.

Any suggestions on servo arms for a new Nitro Serpent Truggy? I am going to run Spektrum servos.

For the throttle, buy the actual Serpent arm as it has a special non threaded hole that works with the Serpent linkage. I have a spare 23T one if you run 23T. $10

You could also use the serpent on the steering as well, but a less expensive one is the SHORT robitronic. http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...Grey-24T-Hitec

Make sure you get the short and not the standard size.

Do yourself a favor and spend the money on really good steering servo. It's a PIA when they blow out. Something like the KO PROPO RSX Power or HiTec 7955 can withstand the abuse.

Hey Brian,

I got your contact! will be in touch. I am hoping to run again this weekend at dirtrunners.

I thought about getting a 1900KV setup with rx8, but not for temp. People were telling me that 1900kv is smoother. I will give it a try.

Just bought an 811e, can someone point me to a good base line setup for a tight track that is rough, dry slick (more like SLIIICK) with small-ish jumps, many of which you land to flat ground? Thanks!

well been out of hobby for several (4) years. Looking to come back to 1/8 scale electric and looking at this car. Way too much to read through. Is it good out of box or does it need anything setup wise?

It's good out of the box, you won't be disappointed.
