Only other difference is gear diffs are a finer pitch so u have to run thicker flui.ds .... more to keep fluidsfrom breaking down in long nitro races than electric

I'm sure you could but have no idea why u would ever want to, car with 2 2s packs and a speedpassion motor is perfect on balance....... tekin is nice but a lot heavier. i been running shorty packs and car is awesome for stability with packs back or unreal steering with packs forward . only downside to speedpassion is it takes a 2200 to equal a 2050 from tekin

That's because for some reason tekin kv ratings aren't accurate, for instance a tekin 2050 is actually 2120kv. Check out this link, go to the motor drop down box and look at the tekins.

Hi i'm new to Serpent cars and just recently bought a secondhand 811be roller, the roller is in great condition and pretty much almost new. I finally got all my electrics delivered and had my first drive of the car today. I installed a Hobbywing 150a ESC & 2250kv sensored motor with a Savox 1258TG servo and the car drives and handles great...
but the drive train gives out a real screechy sound unlike i have heard before on other cars, i also own a 8ight-e and a RC8.2e and they don't sound anywhere near as screechy as my Cobra.
So i am wondering is this normal? i watched some vids on you tube of other 811e's and they actually sound the same as mine so i'm guessing that is how they are?
I had never seen a Cobra 811e until i bought mine so i don't know what to expect and i'm still learning about RC's all the time as i have only been in this hobby for a short time compared to most.
Anyway any advice would be very welcome.

No that is NOT normal. Their are plenty of 811es at our tracks and a really screechy sound is not normal. Most are very quite. Check your gear meshes.

Does that car have a steel spur gear on it hellbound? mine did and was obnoxious loud so i used a 46 tooth spur from associated with 3 diff gaskets and it's perfect now with no leaks
