RC10B4.1 FT/WC
I am leaning towards the avid hexes. I know a lot of people are JC crazy right now. But I know a few guys at the track that have major issues with the JC hex. I had a set on my sc10 and I thought it was tight. But the hex just fell off. I didnt crank it down because of all the stripped hex screw out there, but it was "snug". They just made me nervous.
If I were to get hexes again I'd prob go w/ the Avid set, but like I said before there's nothing wrong w/ the JCs. I just looked at my replacement set in the pack and it looks like there's plenty of thread catching the hex now.
Edit: I just checked the hexes on my B4 and B44. They've definitely revised the hexes to come with longer screws. The ones on my B44 are the same length as my replacement set, and the ones on my B4 have the older shorter screws.

lol, I went to my local autoparts store yesterday looking for some. They had them all right. But it was $35 for a brick of them. I was like that would last me a life time and passed, lol. But yeah, they have them.
These are the ones I saw.

hey guys, im happy to be back on this thread!!! nothing is as gratifying as wheeling a mod buggy around a track
so i just picked up a (new to me) b4.1 factory team car....taking a look at the current setups, i have noticed a couple changes since i ran my last one: 1oz up front? i am guessing this is to counter some of the shifted weight of a shorty pack?

If so I am running a 3.5 sometimes I go to a 3.0
The c-towers are nice to have. Gotta give them a try and see how you like them. Most people that run the C-tower also shave the U-brace.
If you do not know what that is. look back a few pages and it was talked about a few times.
