Default Savox 1258

Will this servo work with no issues with a LiFe battery? Thank you in advance for any reply.

I would not use a 1258 for anything 1/8 related. I had it as the steering servo a while ago and it only lasted about a month in my ols associated. Called Savox to get it warrantied and when they found out I was using it in 1/8 scale they did not want to warranty it and said it was not made for 1/8 scale. They did, but it is the steering servo in my VTA car now. Been there and done that and you need to be looking at servos that are at least 250 oz. for both steering and throttle just my opinion. KO Propo is the way to go!!!!!! They are expensive but will last many many races or seasons.

HORDES of people..including myself use the 1256TG and 1258TG in buggies and truggies. yes..you cant use the 1258 on steering..it pulls too light anyway at about 12kg or something..but it is REALLY fast so that is why we use them on throttle/brake. the 1256TG on steering is plenty at around 20kg. i have been using the same set of savox servos in 3 chassis now and they still run like champs. dont waste your money on overpriced servos IMHO....we had futuba BLS bow out when savox servos just keep on going...and at the price of a BLS or a KO you can get 2 or even 3 savox servos.

you could use mini banana bullets...

i have also used a zip tie between the wires of each connector so it actually forces the connectors together(dont do it tight or you'll damage the wires) and its slow taking apart and putting back together.
The bullets will not work I have tried them, multiple different types of bullets at that.. The plugs come out from the engines vibration, they work great for electric but nitro is a no go..

I got to run my 6r for the first time this weekend and after switching from my TLR to this I have to say it is better in many ways for me. The buggy is very planted on the track, lands much better and has a ton more steering. Overall I can push this buggy harder without it getting upset I find. Cannot wait to go racing again.

The NEW Mugen clutch bells that I've been getting do not have the chamfer on the inside of the bell and work just fine with that style of clutch.

Or your local GMK distributor, assuming there is a GMK distro in Scandinavia?

How to differenciate the mbx6r rear toe inserts? The "a" and "b" inserts look identical.

They are the same. Just turn one upside-down if you want to use it on the other side.

With the notch in the top that's 0 added antisquat. With the notch down that's 1 degree added antisquat.

This is my first Mugen and I would like to know what clutch bell is most popular? I have Kyosho 1.0 springs and Dynamite max life shoes already.

Mugen are some of the best! You will want to run the 13t clutchbell with that combo.
