Don't know who this guy is. Don't really know why he decided to pick on me.

Well the only thing I can say is I am in love with 2wd buggies again. I don't know what it is but I was actually having a better time driving my buggy at the track today then my 4x4 sct....... The WC B4.1 is a whole lot better then the old school b4's and I was much more consistent with it at the track today then my sct.................. Looks like I may have found a new class to race in ;-)

I have an oldish school b4... has some 4.1 mods.......dont be a hater :-P. I would rather run my b4 than my sc 4x4 and day of the week. The buggy is way more elegant to drive.

Well if your rich do as you like, lol. I would run the stock ones and replace as needed. If you want to replace all the stock AE parts with "upgrades" and make it the "best", you gotta have deep pockets.

LOL not hating, I started out with a rtr version b4.1 a little over a year ago. Really liked it but once I drove a sct I was hooked. Took a break from the buggy scene and tried to get back into it late last year with a FT B4 (was cheaper and didn't want to fork out alot of cash incase I didn't like it) and I just could not drive it for anything. Maybe I had the wrong tires/setup etc etc but I hated driving it so I sold it.

To make a long story short I decided the only way I'm going to get better is to learn how to drive a 2wd buggy even if it pissed me off every single time (so I bought the wc b4.1). In this case it was the complete opposite, I had way more fun driving it then my 4x4 sct, but I do know one thing my 4x4 sct was not setup for the new layout at my track so I'm sure once I tune it differently I'll have fun with both ;-)

The bearings are fine. I'm sure they are the same at the 1.00 avid ones.

That's what I thought too, I tried it originally and the motor still seemed sluggish compared to the revtechs that I've been running. I'll give it another try next time out.

I agree. Nothing but good experiences with them.

So I was doing some googling and read that AE has only 6 permanent employees? not including drivers. And I never knew Thunder Tiger bought AE in 2005. I kinda sad that a Taiwan company owns AE.

what track are you running at? I run at pegasus and west coast, 35/69 on gearing with the endbell at the last mark by the + for timing.

I don't think the employee count is accurate. I can think of at least 6 people that work there full time. To be honest...I don't think it is any of our business how many full time employees there are unless you are the state of California. It is all good though because who believes everything they read on the internet?
