Couple bucks for stick on lead, try a few ounces in the back, you can always pull it off if you dont like it.

Add washers under the rear ballstuds to give the rear a little more bit and balance the traction out a bit?

More negative camber in the front to take some of the side bit out of the tires?

Like ilanstylz says, you gotta play with the setup to get it right for you and your track. Not as plug & play as the losi but thats part of the fun. Once you get it right, it's good.

Yeah, I bought the truck, was working on the setup. Then I really started to see it getting expensive, tried to sell my truck, but could not get $150 for it, so I am giving it another go. I also, drove it this last weekend on an outdoor 8th track and it was kinda fun. I have terrible tires for the track, so I was 4 wheel sliding in the corners, but i have a set of snipers that I will try.

lol, like i said it was way more fun on an 8th scale track than a tight indoor. I am hoping I don't parachute too much, that crap annoys me.

yea my plastic hexes took a dump on me. the hex part didnt strip but the inner "race" on the side that faces the bearing melted. might be form tightening the wheel to tight. regardless they are being replaced.

And I would really really like to fix the critical items first. I have a vts...... but no one told me i needed a new gear cover... so fail. I don't have any saddle packs, so that is out for a while. And lol, at getting the alum chassis any time soon. Right now, my main focus is trying to push the truck hard and not blow up my 540, lol.
- Run Sticks
- Run the stick setup on RC10.com from whoever it was.
- Screw the exotek. You don't need it.

~Seriously. You don't need to put much of anything in the truck past the VTS.
- 8mm is very interesting
- FT shocks are 'nice'.
- Need a Chassis brace. (I don't know where you're at as far as the truck)

Don't think $$$.

The diff fix I used worked great.
G yote , Think i discovered how to
build a diff better even than AE ...

( removed outside shim on outdrive and used 2 normal shims under the sun gear instead of one )

If you just purchased and building a new Team ?

Suggest buying a extra set of diff gears , use those instead of the gear included & shim as I suggest ....

: reason I suggest to buy new gears is due to the fact the gears I find on the wall are little better than the gears included in the kits ...

Yeah, the chassis brace is on my list. Does it flex that much? Whats the issue? The belt skips?

lol. You've obviously not read the thread.

Yeah, It skips, but most of all, the entire chassis flops around like a wet noodle causing different reactions every lap/turn. You should have gotten the FT upgrade kid with the VTS, Cover, and Chassis Brace. It's too bad someone led you astray.

Wow Cherry. You just now figuring that out. Use the search function as that is how I recommended shimming the diffs from day one with my FT. Only difference is I am also using a .1mm shim between outdrive and case obtained from Tony's Screws. This cutting edge tech you have is nothing short of amazing. Please keep it coming, lol.
