I think they are just mold numbers although the mounts are specific for each size of bar where they fasten to middle of bar. There are four different size bars and 4 differenent size slots in mounts.

I know, thought about those and they look great. Unfortunately, the price+shipping is a compromise to the budget. A careful balancing act keeps the rc budget under the wife's radar (well, she's aware, but doesn't say too much if I don't spend too much).

The gears are stripping? Are you using the recommended 8mm of uptravel limiters? The is also some posts on here about how to properly shim the sun gears. I have not shimmed mine yet, but I do have some shims on the way and plan to.

lol, I am in the same deal with my wife. That is one of the reasons, the alum chassis is not in my future. If I told my wife I wanted to spend 100 on a chassis, I would have to sleep with one eye open. I am trying to figure out how to replace my kit tires with out her noticing.

Thanks, I think Hooters are best viewed in pairs.

half the paint on my kit body fell of in 3 weekends..... I used an air brush and parma faskolor paint. I washed it and used several light coats....... so yeah, lol. I will race it ugly for a while
