Hi Rex,
I got to see one of your modded Lutz Alphas run as Stephen was putting a race tune on it, very impressive!
He's a good friend of mine and one of the top truggy drivers in Auckland...we went to the femca champs in aussie last year, one of the best rc racing trips ever.

Craig

Default Stephen B From N.Z

Hi there Rex, Stephen .B from Auckland N.Z ran your Sponsored modded Ryan Lutz edition Alpha engine today in his Mugen Seiki Truggy.
He said the engine is real strong and fast, he is confident in the engines ability to deliver results even considering that it has not "dropped its nutz" yet.

He said it was tuned on the rich side running an O.S P3 Plug, Alpha plus 0801 tuned pipe on 30% Nitroninja Race fuel.
Good run times of 8.5min tanks (on a tight engine) and impressive power shined through (even through the worst of the mechanical problems he had during the day). A few decent qualifiers seen him seal a place in the A main.

After calling a delay at the start of the A main finals to sort out some diff issues, he found himself starting from the back of the field.
After the first lap he had gained 3rd position and then scorched his way up toward and then claiming the number 1 position over the remainder of the race and held the lead position until the finish with 2 laps up on the next competitor.

Not a bad days racing with what looks to be a very strong engine, don't you think?

That's Awesome, the Lutz engine is awesome and then modded it will be a beast. Glad he is not overdriving it

Just love this new silicone, flows so much nicer. Started adding slugs in cranks now for better balance.

I have some Arrow Gtr engines and a Bullitt engine on the way, excited to be a dealer for Hobby Pro. I now can get cheaper replacement parts for the V-spec.

Stephen.B does it again with his Sponsored R.W Modded Ryan Lutz edition Alpha .21 race engine!
Achieving a much revered 40 second lap with improving consistency in the Truggy A Main at yesterdays ARCCC points round.
After some solid times put down through out the day and T.Qd as well, thanks to his ability to drive to the super grippy conditions, with the awesome power delivery of his R.W mods sponsored Alpha, and his Nitroninja 30% custom blended fuel he settled for 1st place finish with 4 laps up on the next competitor!

Stephen would like to say thanks again to Rex from R.W Mods for his awesome work on producing this modded engine.

Cool deal on the bullet and Arrow engines Rex. I am sure they hold true to OS's standards!
