SC10 Thread Part 2

would anyone recomend dremeling part of the chasis so the servos wires aren't being stressed?
- just enough so the servo wire doesn't need to bend so bad. Or would this weaken the chassis? It wouldn't be much

You should be good man. Ive got slots cut in my sc 10 for the servo wires. Makes everything alot cleaner and u dont gotta worry about the wire stretching out of the housing. Ive also done it on my slashes as some of my lipos have large diameter wires. It works fine. Ive seen some people dremel away there chassis to swiss cheese and they dont have any problems. Small cut like that would be fine. Round off ur edges tho as rubbing can cause the wire to run alot

Is there a way to find out what spacer to use, if any, for the Savox SC-1258TG?
I've been trying to eyeball it by putting it on top of a futaba servo but am worried I might mess something up if my guess is incorrect. I'm guessing it's no spacer but just want to be sure.

Thats a final drive ratio of 9.5 and it will be geared to top out at around 60 mph. When I ran a Fantom 8.5 with a high torque rotor (lower kv) the highest I could gear it was 21/84. It had an unloaded kv of 4000. The Tekin Redline 7.5 has an unloaded kv of 6100. I'm still gonna go with Hethcox and say 18/87 or 18/84. I have a buddy in NC who runs at Cape Fear Raceway which is one of the biggest tracks in the U.S. and we run identical electronic setups. He only gears up 1 more pinion tooth than me (22/84).

If you have never used a digital servo the noise is a bit strange, but all of them do it. Its just the servo keeping itself centered. Don't worry about it.

Anyone running the Lunsford Turnbuckles. Which ball cups are you using?
Is this the correct one to get? http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...nd-Set-Grey-12
I see they have a set specifically for the Super duty series but I am not running Lunsford ball studs.
