I think I'm faster because I am able to drive it harder and not worry about traction rolls and that gives me more confidence n being able to throw it into corners a bit harder also

It came out much better then expected. I still can't decide if I want to cut out the vents or not just yet. I'll see how it performs on the track this weekend and make a decision.

Nice job Acill. I wish I could mask like that. I have to use the pre-cut masks because I can never seem to cut a design out properly.

Very nice. Even if you are running indoors, you should cut the vents.

A.L.A.P. I would have to count the holes I guess to tell for sure.

All of them on this Hi-Flow? I was nervous about the strength of the body after removing so much. I was thinking the two on the hood, the two behind the cab and the ones in the bed would be all I need?

And a friend of mine did the masking all by hand for me. He is a great painter! Mine are usually much more simple.

I count up from the bottom since I cut my body posts. I'm running a Method Hellcat body and it's up 3 holes in the front and rear.

You can shoe goo around the vents after cutting them out. Not a lot, just a little for strength. Or I like the packaging tape with the filament in it for reinforcement. Then when I apply it, I'll use the wife's hair dryer and heat it up and press on it to make it stick real good. You have to do this before it touches dirt for best results.
A little tip on cut outs. Make sure all corners are rounded off. Never leave them square. Having square corners will give the body a weak point when it's flexing.
I always like it cut out for when I jump nose high. If I'm carrying speed, your still creating some kind of force (wind) with the velocity of the truck in motion. So it's still beneficial.

Counting from the top.

1 hole at the rear, 5 holes at the front.
