Mod sportsman? Never seen that class. I tried to race locally in a mod class, but there are some really fast guys here. Mod sportsman, sounds interesting though

What would fix that would be either a 10.5 or 13.5 class. Then you's have sportsman mod.

What Big Bore springs are most people using now? Avid, Losi or Kyosho? What spring rates front and rear?

I am running the Losi.
I have not forked out the 50-60 bucks to get the Avid . I do want to
I am running Red front and Yellow rears. I have to much traction so I am going to try Pink rear tonight

Thanks. Do you know what color most people are using on the Avids? Are they supposed to be that much better?

Red front and yellow rear are what people at the track are running right now.

I hear they are better.

I'm using the Avids with white front and white rear. Hooked up very well on a good sized medium to high bite indoor track with #2 pistons, 35wt front, and 30wt rear. Red sure seems like a lot of spring up front. The Associated browns were too stiff for me down at SDRC and they are between the white and yellows.

All that totally depends on where you are running your car at.

I am surprised to hear people are running the reds up front. Seems pretty stiff. I guess I will get me a set and give them a try. What shock cups do you use on the bottom since Avids aren't available yet?

I'm using the Traxxas uppers and lowers. I lost quite a bit of steering when I tried the yellows up front.
