SC10 Thread
Ok, so your saying I should remove the 2 shims that I have on each of the rear axles, and the 1 shim I have on each of the front axles... essentially the adapter will rest against the bearings? Correct? And what were you saying about getting F.T. pins? I'm running a Factory Team truck, do I need to change them then? Thanks!
The stock roll pins can bend. These are easier to get on and off too.

FT axle pins.

Just some fore warning, mine did not want to stay in when I had the wheel off. I lost a couple due to this. What I ended up doing was putting some blue loc-tite on the pin and then sliding it in. After the loc-tite set up it was perfect. I could still take it out easily if I wanted to, but it would not fall out just sitting there.
I'm running an lrp 9.5 in my sc10,whith the tc spec v2 esc. i have a 87 tooth spur with a 19 tooth pinion and i'm having heat issues. the timing in the motor is at 30degrees. the tranny is free of binding. i'm also running the same weight in the truck as the maifield setup anyone have any ideas y this truck is running this hot. its definetly over 160 at about 5 minutes
Hi All
I just have a question with wiring up my SC700-BL ESC , my Spektrum SC300 RX and my NiCD reciever battery.
Now I know when running an external UBEC you disable (either cut or remove) the Red (power) cable from ESC to RX.
My question is... is it the same when using a seperate RX battery? Do I still disconnect the red cable?
Never used an RX battery before.

Anyone have any ideas for outdoor setups? Ive only raced indoor clay but theres a big outdoor race this weekend that I'm going to and have no idea where to start. Shock oils? Springs? Gear ratios? Weight in truck? Ill be running a 10.5 fully boosted on a wide open track with a lot of big jumps. Its hard pack, dusty and bumpy. Thanks guys

If you do use a separate power source (external bec or rx Batts) to power rx and servo then yes disconnect the red wire from the esc otherwise you'll have double the voltage to the rx.
I guess I would ask why your messing with a rx Batt. I'm not familiar with the esc your speaking of but most escs have a built in bec to power the rx and servo.

Common occurrence.
I just watched this video of some cool 3M brand carbon fiber vinyl. Thought it may be cool to utilize it on a R/C project in the future for some cool styleee

Most of the time this will be an easy fix. However sometimes those SR300 receivers are a PITA. If you have another RX available to run try swapping out that SR300.
