I have never run a Picco based Engine. Uriah's .12 Picco torque
Engine produced plenty of power and a ton of rip out of the corners with plenty of straight away speed. These motors have impressed me so much that I will run them for the remainder of the season to include Nationals in fall.

Hello Uriah, I have a question. I recently purchased a replacment piston/sleeve/rod set for my Novarossi Kangaroo .21 . Is it possible to have it modded and if so would i send in the p/s/r or the entire engine? Thanks in advance.

I can modify the PSR set, and you will see more power. It is best to get the entire engine modified to see the full benefit of the modified Kangaroo.

Hey Uriah , I'm running a max xxl with stock shimming and 20% with 2630 exhaust. I am having problems making runtime and not finishing my qualifiers . What tips or exhaust would help me make runtime. What about the 2601?

The 2601 will give you better runtime, at the expense of some power.

Congratulations to Simon Wood, and Chris Steel. The second round of the British 200mm Championship was held at Stonehaven circuit in Aberdeen, Scotland. Simon, and Chris managed to make the A final against some very fast drivers. Simon Wood qualified 3rd with his Murnan RBM3 engine. Chris Steel chose to run his Murnan Modified Novarossi Flash .12PT engine. He liked the feel of this engine over his RBM3 for this track. Simon decided to stay with the RBM3 due to the smoother feel compared to the more violent Murnan Novarossi Flash .12PT. Both engines performed great, and in the end the race was called due to rain.

The Murnan Reds M3T is definitely one hell of a beast, I can say that from first hand experience. It also helped me win the Kosmic Shootout in BD Delaware. Thanks for the heat Uriah

any tips on how to break in a Keep-On .12 on a bench?

Always keep the cooling head covered so the airflow does now cool the engine too much.
1.) Warm the engine with a heat gun until it is (around 200F).
2.) Start the engine. Then establish a rich idle ( around 7,000 r.p.m.)and let the engine run for 150cc of fuel, then let the engine cool to ambient temperature. Running temperatures during this stage will be between 160-190 degrees F.
3.) Run the engine at 1/4 throttle for 450cc of fuel then let cool. ( Temperatures should be around 200-210 F)
4.) Run the engine at 1/2 throttle for 450cc of fuel then let cool. (Temperatures should be around 200-210 F)
5.) Run the engine at 3/4 throttle for 450cc of fuel then let cool. (Temperatures should be around 200-210 F)
6.) Run the engine at full throttle for 450cc of fuel then let cool. (Temperatures should be around 200-210 F)
7.) After this process has been completed on the break in bench, it is time to install the engine in the car.

I repeat step 6 until I get a nice dark brown color on the piston.

I use 10-16% nitro, with 16% oil. Preferably all castor for break in.
