SC10 4x4 Thread
I appreciate that as I believe others do too. But, keep in mind that even the best minds don't get it right all the time. Just look at how the SC104x4 when it first came out was received and what all changed on it to get it to the point it is now.
+1 on appreciating your opinions and I would like to hear yours on actually trying the basket.
Heck, maybe Marcus could send you one to try out on a loaner basis or we could chip in to get you to try it

NO offense to WC but guys like him are VERY hard to get out of their box. He is very one sided and i dont see him all of a sudden saying "WOW was i wrong , the RCShox Cdif is much better than my VTS setup"!! Its not going to happen hence a waste of my time and his. Neutral minds are needed to test products along with racers that "want" to make it work instead of looking for ways to make it not work. Take Cameron for instance, A very good driver and is very neutral which is why i use him pretty much exclusively for testing because i know for a fact he will tell me the truth good or bad and by the time the general public gets my products they are RIGHT, hence the V2cdif. Had i released it based on my testing alone high grip racers would still not have enough punch, so you can thank him for that
the last two weeks before the release between Cam and I we tested 8 different spurs,8hole,10hole, multiple pin locations etc etc.My products are not "snake oil" they actually work and do what they are suppose to do! No gimmicks just innovation, dont think for a second that i have not had team drivers test because i have and some of them do run my Garodisc WC just doesnt know that until now
Those of you that use the Garodisc know that there is NO situation where a stock pad will outperform them, and i am willing to put money on that!
Funny, I know a team driver for AE and he advised me he wouldn't be allowed to use an aftermarket part on his vehicle when I specifically asked him about it. So maybe it is part dependent, etc. But it does happen.
I was hoping to get more insight into what you were seeing or hearing from other drivers you associate with that made you feel that the VTS was the "best" as you said versus the other options out there like garodiscs, V2 Center Diff, etc.
For those who have actually used the V2 Center diff and a clutch basket setup (AE, MTK, etc), what conditions did you find the clutch basket was the best choice to go with over the V2 Center diff?
I am wanting to see if its worth keeping it in the pit box, or, maybe just the garodiscs, etc. to be ready for any conditions.

Stock slipper. Useless
2 garo discs. Slightly better
Pinned shaft with 2 garo discs. OK buts lots of push
MTK basket with HD pads. OK but fades fast.
Basket with Garo discs. Good and drivable
V1 center diff. New world of drivability! Went up on motor size. Tq and win first time out by 2 laps. Best before that was 3rd.
V2 diff. Even better. More forward acceleration with out giving up turn in or adding push.
This is just my limited experience and I am far from the best driver but I do Tq our clubs intermediate class regularly.
Thanks for the breakdown on the performance of the products you have tried.
Marcus, does that offer still stand on checking out those 1/5 scale shocks I mentioned long time ago?

Here what I have found out for the way I drive. Our track is a small-med outdoor with med-high traction depending on the line.

and i think everyone will agree with this, no way to argue about it.
These results are what keep me going, Making a factory guy, that cannot not admit to running my products really does nothing for me. Making an avg racer faster by leaps and bounds gives me goosebumps! it means that my long nights and endless days mean something
Going from midpack/3rd place to TQ and winning by multiple laps is more than just a good day! congrats man and thanx for your support!

Cain , only recommending what the Team driver's do as they have the most experience ...
You can try your best to say the team driver don't or can't use , this is simply not true ..
Anyone can see all kinds of custom stuff like Avid , MIP , Lunsford ect being used by the Ae team racers .

Your argument is invalid.
I am not sponsored by Ae , I do get mass kick down from my Ae teammates though ...

Scott Brown & Chris Bridgewater, Factory & not regional drivers.
Both help me stay in the box ...

We appreciate your opinions WC, don't be afraid to try new things though. Everyone on this thread was talking about how good the basket was way before AE released their basket. But there was a few people who said it was not needed, and now it's the best upgrade that can be done.
If you tried the center diff I think you would like it.

Lets be honest, its more like your there number one, blissfully blind fan, and they are probably just tolerable to you Wc. For you to be team Ae's top fan boy, is really saying something.
Hey, but "to each his own", as at least you haven't wavered from your relentless and stubborn brand support.
