"Diffing-out" = Loose differential. When powering out of a turn one wheel will loose traction and start spinning much faster than the other. This will make the car very unpredictable when coming out of a turn. To correct it, try tightening the diff. in 1/4 hour increments.

Tightening the diff limits the power differential between the wheels. When a diff is completely locked (a spool), equal power is sent to both wheels. It helps in extremely loose conditions where you do more steering with the throttle, than the front end.

Zipper
I am running the 0* aluminum rear hubs and for now I have the AE hex adapters on until the Avid wheels come out and I'll buy their rear hexes. I was at one shim on the inside and two on the outside of the axle. I wouldn't exactly call my "driving style" professional. I am three seconds on the fastest lap behind TQ and wrecking is a part of my game. The Ohio RC Factory is a big technical track and this layout has some good air to it. There are two triples and one of them is good size. I now see there are two different bearing spacer. What is the one I need?
This is not an issue with Avid's bearings. I have been using them for a while and I have had one fail quickly after installing it. This is something I am doing and I want to figure out what it is and change it.

What springs come with the Worlds Kit? I just searched through the thread here and people said Silver Front and Green Back then other said Brown Front Green Back. Can someone clarify this for me as I'm ordering more parts to go with my setup to get it started right.

Should come with brown/green. If you want to go with the Losi BB springs I'd recommend red/white and Losi 56 pistons.

Thanks for the response everyone. I couldn't just look at the picture cuz I'm color blind lol.

I am adding 27.5 wt oil, Jconcept Hex Adapters front and back, Hex Wheels and trying to get a ride height gauge on here. Can anyone suggest on what else i need "not would want lol" to make it very competitive the first day it hits the track?

Default Snapped my Front A-Arm last night

I have the 4.1 Worlds Kit which came with the carbon a-arms. I snapped the front left A-arm last night at the track.

Should I replace it with another carbon a-arm? Or are the non-carbon parts actually more resilient to breaking???

(apparently RPM doesn't make arms for this little buggy...)

Well You don't Need the Hex set up.

You want more of a "Need" List
More front rear tires
more shock oil weights. 15wt to 35wt
More springs
More pistons.
Tools to adjust the buggy

You don't need really anything to add to the out of the box kit. Things help. but not needed.

You can never go wrong with tires and wheels. Maybe a few extra wings.

You want to run the same material arms left and right. However...the non carbon arms are less resilient to breaking. Also, don't put ANYTHING rpm on your race buggy. Use OEM Associated parts, and leave the rpm stuff for the bashers.

things that you SHOULD get first but not really NEED

Hex conversions. If you are going to do it, do it from the beginning because you save money.

Proper tools

Tires.

25 and 30 wt shock oil. (27.5 and 32.5 too but the other two first).

don't get caught up in springs, pistons, batteries, any of that stuff now. Just get the stuff I listed and run the car until your eyes bleed and it hurts to touch the transmitter.

When that happens, go get some sleep, kiss your girl, and then go do it again.
