Asking because I'm ordering parts for a diff re-build since something stripped on me last night.
the cross pins that the spider gears rotate on. The only difference I can see is the outdrives for the FT are lightened

My thoughts exactly..........

Not sure how fast you want that thing to go, it wasn't designed for high speed runs........ Either gear up, add timing/boost whatever, or drop in a 3s lipo............

Default Gearing

I installed a tenshock 4600 in my truck, currently geared at 60/14, should this be okay for a med/small outdoor track? It's hooked up to a hobbywing sct pro speed control.

Vito , I run the 5.5 550 Novak all the time & use a 16T & boost

That's the gearing I run on similar track with that motor. Very fast with good temps

Yes go with the blue springs in the rear, and don't listen to those that say the exotek isn't worth it because most likely they haven't even tried it. It is def. worth the money and I was even skeptical in the beginning but couldn't be happier with mine........

No.

But you can try a little and find about a dozen lists of exactly what you just asked for.

THX,
I ordered it(Exotek), 107$ total w/ shipping.....
Like i said, i will drill the holes in the chassis I have,
then I'l have both....

I bought 2Gens Ace Lipos & 1 Orion 5500mah 90C
Saddle Packs TUBES w/4mm Bullets.....
So, I went 2 cheaper batteries, for now.

Question:
The Black&Red wire from my ESC,
I can put Bullets on each 1& plug str8 into the
Saddle packs correct?? Instead of Deans connections.
That way no wires coming from battery...
Will it work like with the Stick packs??
I know with the Gens Ace stick packs that is how
alot of PPL do it.
THX
