LOL, that's one of our running jokes around here. We have half a dozen other vehicles pretty much ready to go (already designed), but we're going to wait and see how this is received before making any production decisions.

Exactly, there is no need for a CV joint in the front. We may release one for the center rear as an option in the future, but it's more rotating parts without much benefit.

Wheel driveshafts on the other hand need to articulate so obviously we went with the CV's there.

Good stuff Jhautz, it will be interesting to see what other manufacturers do after this is released. Being a smaller company, we can make decisions faster and think outside of the box without a bunch of suits telling us we're crazy . This is the foundation of our company going forward and we're excited as hell about it!

They are smaller (lighter), but they thread into a bunch of plastic. There's a massive M5 thread on either end going into the rod ends. They are pretty beefy except for what is exposed. In all of our testing (7 cars for 7 months) we have yet to break one. I think we did bend one however, but definitely hasn't been an issue for us.

FYI, a little feature - we used angled/offset rod ends for ALL of the camber links. This lowered all of the links by 5mm. Having an ounce or two be another 5mm isn't a world of difference, but every little bit helps and this is just an example of how much thought we put into this thing. We tried to optimize every where we could.

Well i am a "dual battery layout" fan but i'm sure this one would be the best way to go with a single battery, you can tell it has a lot of features that just make sense. Also its light weight is a nice thing to keep in mind when it comes to choose a buggy IMO.

Great to see Tekno growing up and i hope you guys do well in this new "adventure", making this scale bigger!

Just out of curiosity, is the center diff the same dimensions as any other diff (Losi, AE, etc) for the sake of spur gear interchangeability?

Not sure about that. We haven't checked for compatibility, but there might be others that work. We didn't do anything too special with the diff case.

Yes there is a chance. This platform is multi-purpose and we will tailor it to many different classes.
