Quick question... What is the best replacement body for the stock body? I have to say the stock body is crumbling on me. I've only raced it about 8 race days and it's quickly falling apart.

Thanks

Could be wrong though.
So far so good! I think it's the fact that the needle is 6.5mm and the length of threaded rod is 8-32. Not much room for deflection.

Sounds like the track I race on. Loamy when wet with great traction from any tire and when it dries you have to really work to get any 2wd to hook and some 4wds. My SC10 4x4 loves the Proline Caliber 2.0, wet or dry.
I run my push setting at 20. Try even more just to pronounce the effect, it only takes a couple minutes in the pits to change it on your laptop.

Same motor, I run 13/62. Start there and see what your temps are.
I come off a 7 minute main at 145 so there's more gear if you want it but its already scary fast.

Just edited to 13/62.
My opinion is that the 32 pitch is the only spur to run and stock 62t has plenty of range you don't need to vary from that just play with the pinion size.

[QUOTE=PastaBoyNY;10612967]Mr Cherry...dont knock it until you have tried it! My brace has yet to even Scratch! I made it before the FT brace came out and it has worked wonders. Seeing as you are such an AE Fan I have to wonder how you can use that brace made from Traxxas Parts? Isnt it going to break or bend? (grin). Not as good as the AE FT brace...........PRACTICE what you preach. Help others instead of knocking when they asked a simple question.

With unearned respect.....

I do practice what I say , look at my recent pics and you will see the new Team brace on my ride...

Not intending to diss your brace , only trying to recommend the best way & part that has just become available from Ae ...

I'm running 14/60 and temp 150 after a full pack. Pretty fast if you have good straight sections to run on.

Don't know if you have a rx8, but if you do that may help and if not maybe your esc has something like it... not sure.

If that does not help, I agree with bumping up the rear shock oil because you ass end could be slapping the face on takeoff and kicking you.

Oh yeah, I forgot about your piston question. Yes, the rcshox pistons are great.

Default Thinking out loud.

I am not a fast racer and race for fun although I do try to improve my skills so I will not make comments about who is fast, faster, or fastest... but...

I love Associated but someone on this forum has their head so far up Team Associated's arse it isn't funny!

Lots of good stuff out there that works and works well. One manufacturer is not the catch all end all to answers of winning races! To close one's mind completely to other products demonstrates where that head is.

Stepping off my pedastal.
