okay guys just finished my factory team kit, and was going to head out to the track. tossed it down on the garage floor to test it out and when I turn the wheels all the way to the right I lose drive and I can hear something slipping? Any thoughts? I am extremely careful when building but guess I could have missed something.
Without trying to drive forward, set your steering endpoints to the point where you don't hear the servo at full lock (if you are pushing beyond the physical limitations of the steering rack, you should hear the servo stressing to push farther, and possibly even see the steering assembly bow a bit under the stress). I would even go 5-10% less than the physical end points to start, as this truck as SO much steering to begin with.
Try that and let us know!
Jconcepts Winter Nationals is this weekend at Mikes Hobby Shop in Dallas, TX. It will be on LiveRC this weekend. 4w SC is the biggest class at this round.
Marcus is running his SC10 4w at this event. Kody from AE is there as well as a few other big names. Should be a good race to check in on over the weekend.

I actually already adjusted the steering back and still same results. It is a hitec 7955tg. The rest of the electrics I stole out of my b44, a mmp and havoc velocity 5.5 540 can. went ahead and took it to the track and it def, has an issue I took it around for like two laps and the motor heated up quickly when coming from out of a corner it would hesitate, then accelerate quickly after a second or two. Tried reprogramming a couple times and it made no difference.
Ok, with the new FT set up and running on an indoor track - what ride height would you guys recommend?
I have found a factory team driver set-up that used 24mm in the front and 22mm in the rear. However, that just seems a little too low or would bottom out on some of the jumps.
So, I am just curious as to what the current median point that you guys have found works for you. please share, if you don't mind.

Hey guys,
Chasing a part number for the Orange Sway bars, I must've got an earlier set from Amain as they were not included. Have searched Amain for Orange bars on their own but not having any luck.
Cheers in advance.

These are some complicated little trucks. I just picked up a non FT version and was looking through the thread for the typical suggested upgrades and I must say there are a TON of different things these trucks seem to need to be competitive.
Guess I better keep reading.
