VZW421 Aluminum Brake Lever
VZW417 is the steel diff bevel gear (2 sets)
And if i am correct VZW417-1 is the full steel diff gear that all R4 owners want in order to have a consistent diff without problems.

the vzw 424 are the full set of steel diff gears and

the vzw 424-1 are just the small steel gears for those who have bought the vzw 417

What a load of crap.

This is the reason I gave up on Kyosho after more than 10 years.....

Why didnt they come out with the full range of steel diff gears in the beginning? I bought 3 packets of the steel gears last year only to find out they were only the large gears and didnt include the small ones.

Went to the nationals and munched at least 4 diffs.....

Thanks guys!!...I'm very happy with the car, a lot of good moments... Y will continue with it, it's very fast, good price in replacement parts, excelent quality of the materials...a little bit overweight, but, I can improve that..xD
Diff isue doesn´t kill me... but if it doesn't get fix with the new steel gears I will switch...XD
Just the last chance...xD

I've got a number of races on the stock aluminum bevel gears and haven't had any problems. It's just a .3mm shim I added to the diff cup. We're just starting 6 race series, we'll see if I continue to have good luck with it.

If you shim them right they have no problem , but you should change oil diff regularly

Sorry guys i didn't follow ... is it you mean 0.3mm shim before the big gear inside the diff case or before the diff outdrive outside the diff case..

You add an extra shim in top and bottom of the case as per instructions.
