Been running them for a month. My set up is the front in the rebound (reverse) position with 3/4/5 valves and the rear in the compression position with the 3/4/5 valves. I have the option valves but have not tried them yet. Buggy sticks on large sweepers. Not much difference on the jumps.
know this has been asked already just too many pages to look through. How can i get more steering from my buggy i have 2 washers under ball stud on front shock tower. would removing these help if yes. one or both? run on hard pack dirt slight dust. running losi prescub 3 rib pink front tires

I use these shims. They are the perfect size for many applications including shimming the rotor in your brushless motor, removing the gap in the piston size, and various other places.

I used the Losi red 56 pistons when building my V2 shocks and noticed there was a small amount of play. Not sure if it makes a huge difference but I felt more comfortable removing it with a shim. If you measure the AE pistons vs the Losi you will find there is a difference in height.

I hope I dont take too much flame to "search" but I am at a loss for my setup. I have read the forum everyday since November but am still relatively new to setups, as I have mostly been a drive what I have type of guy. But I am slowly learning. For reference, I am running a used B4.1 I purchased off here. Hoping to get some specific to me help.
Anywho, I am running a popular ae team setup (forget which on). Have followed most everyones advice and am running what seems to be the popular tuning options. Here is what my buggy is doing. Turn in fine to a corner, but from mid to out it just wants to snap loose under power. At first I thought it was setup, but regardless of what springs i use, what tires i throw on the rear, or multiple other tuning options the results are the same, it snaps in rear regardless. So now I am thinking there is something else I am missing, perhaps in the slipper or diff.
I am new to diffs, but I took out my ball diff and it felt very gritty and dry. Rebuilt the diff according to the sticky in here, and hoped that would make a difference. It didnt. Now I am thinking it may have something to do with my slipper. I have run it on the tight and loose side and the only way to get it not to snap is to run the slipper too loose, where its slipping a lot. I have never rebuilt the slipper, was thinking of trying to yellow slipper pads (have white in now).
Hopefully this all makes sense. I am thinking there is something my lack of knowledge is holding me back on. Any help is much appreciated. Also I am running 78/28 with a 13.5. Maybe gearing causing too much torque? Again, I am at a loss. Thanks

Throw your exact setup (down to the tires) on here along with the type of surface you are trying to run on and we may be able to give you a hand. ESC settings can be pretty dog gone important. You might just simply have too much pop for the surface you are running on.
like said above, posted everything in your setup. Have you noticed if anyone else at the track has the issue? See if you can get someone experienced from the track to take your car for a spin and give advice. Also like mentioned, it could just be your track is too lose, maybe your over driving the car.

As far as others suggestions. I am at work now but will post full setup once home. Regardless of setup, it seems to do it no matter what I do to the car, which has me thinking maybe something else is wrong but either way I will post the full setup once I am home. Thanks
