SC10 4x4 Thread
Have only heard high praise of the Tenshock! I'm really excited about running it. I got the 4600kv, gonna pair it up with the Tekin RX8... 12t sound like a decent start on a pinion?
Also going with 32.5/27 on the shocks.. 5/3 on the diffs.. and the blue FR spring on the rear.

About 150 after 10 min of practice.

Med outdoor track. Temps about 150 after a full pack.
Yes it is, but your gonna go through bodies twice as fast. I just invested in a new body for the both of them when I had my 2wd.
Wish I could, but my solder is broke and no time to take it to my local hobby shop to get it wired up due to work. I should have it up and operational by Friday.......
I broke the rear idler this weekend.
I'm running a clutch basket. I tighten the screw all the way down then back off about 1 turn. I was skeptical about this adjustment, but it's the way the local fast guy does it.
How are you guys adjusting your clutches?
Is breaking idlers a normal thing? Or did I cause pre-mature wear due to my adjustment?
Thanks.
And if anyone is keeping track, going down in shock oil weight made my truck land a lot nicer.

You cannot adjust your clutch the way someone else does, no two are the same and its a fine line between stripping a gear and the proper setting. He could have a V1 or V2 spring or even a brand new spring will adjust differently.Always start loose and adjust to make it tight never the opposite and test on the track. Tires make a difference too, if you have stickier tires than him it can also cause failure. Best bet is to install a set of Garodisc with your basket and let it slip like it is supposed to.
With my other vehicles, I've always used the method of lifting the front tires and inch to adjust the clutch. Can I use this method?
I do have the garo discs, but haven't installed them yet. I only have 2 discs. Do I need to order a third? If I don't, where should I put the two garos?
