For futaba servos I like the S9351 . $10 more dollars, better specs:

I am running a JR Z9100S right now in my SC104x4. Its speed is nuts and extremely strong. Been pretty much converting all my cars over to this servo now other than sole futaba equipped one.

same price as the futaba S9351 .
Ok, the problem is I have this servo in my garage. Not placing a order will this work ok as far as speed and torque goes?

I have seen people use lesser servos and are happy with performance. Give it a try, worst thing, you just want a better servo later on.

Heck, its specs whip the stock RTR one from what I understand anyway.

All my cheapo Dynamite, Turnigy, Eurgle, and Haiyin packs are all still doing fine (though most only have 20 runs on them....the Dynamites have about 60)
I don't really consider the Dynamite a cheapo pack. I have 4 of them that have been great, very reliable.

Just ordered the exotek chassis and the inline battery s/u.
Anyone have a inexpensive saddle pack to recommend?

running some Hyperion 30C 6000mah packs here. Basically same dimensions like the Gens Ace 6000mah packs. The seem to work well so far.

Try the hobby king site as well. I never had an issue with the turnigy packs.

I use pro match saddles and there 6000 60c sticks. It's the best battery I've ever run. I also helped him start his military discount program. So military veterans active or guard and reserve members get them for almost 15 to 20 off regular price. Awesome guy to work with
