550 cans are fine for SCT 4x4 mod/open, but they have to be 2 pole 550's I think this will change as more 4 pole 550's come onto the market

Revtech came out with their sensored 540 motor. Not that I'm gonna run out and by one, very happy with my pro 4.

Default Hauler bags

Hey I know a lot of you guys run more than one SCT class, what Hauler bags do you use that can fit 2 SCT's? I'm using the JConcepts medium bag now which does technically fit a SCT in it's drawer, but it's a tight fit when running hazard wheels and you have to compress the shocks to get it to fit in there with body mounted.

I want to keep the JConcepts for random stuff like tires, parts boxes, tool pouches, etc. then have one other hauler that can easily stoe my two SCT's and my Mini 8ight (for screwing around when i have a lull between races)

If you buy AE's chassis brace you will also need to buy the updated rear shock tower as well..........

I'm thinking 70 bucks retail is a good price for what you get.

In other news, my short bus truck has been handling inconsistently of late. Apparently NOT rebuilding your car since new isn't such a good thing. Arms, replaced, total rear dif rebuild and I Removed one of the CVDs to find the pin falling out in three pieces!

On the up side, regular RC10 CVD bits fit the SC104x...

I'm not worthy...

I have one of those, take the tires off! One truck goes in one drawer, the other goes in the other, and all the tires go in the third.

I use one of these in black.

You could easily fit 2 SCT in this thing, but one with body and tires removed. I lug around my B4, Sc10 4x4, 2 spectrum transmitters, a charger and 6 batteries along with a ton of tools and 2 sets of spare SCT tires. cant beat the price and it has wheels.

Can someone explain benefits to clutch basket or center diff over coupled/pinned slipper. I'm still running pin mod with stock slipper and pads w 4.5 550 Novak. It lays down good power. I have not stripped any gears "yet". Just wonder if I'm missing out on serious perf. Advantage. I run on medium size outdoor track, med grip clay. Tryin to decide if I should invest the money. Thanx

The ft brace attaches to the shock tower and the new shock tower is heavily reinforced accordingly.

It will break the standard tower quickly.

Well guys and gals you can add me to the list of busted servo savers... Luckily it happened to me right before I was going to head out for the day........Almost a full year of having this sct and so far one stripped servo horn and one busted servo saver is all I've managed to break, lets just say the sc10 4x4 can take a beating, especially the way I drive lol........

Here's a quick picture of the carnage:
